The residence has multiple public spaces with large sliding door walls that open up to the 50-ft infinity-edge Pool and hillside backyard paths leading down a newly planted citrus grove. We oriented the house and composed the volumes to maximize views and to create decks for all bedrooms on the second floor. The house was designed with a day-lighting partial basement tucked into the hillside with home theater, gym, and guest quarters with separate entrance.

The residence features city, downtown and canyon views from the yard, infinity edge pool, public spaces, decks, and master suite with the adjacent library and second floor decks.
The west facing bedrooms are oriented towards the west with Ocean and Coastal views.

We developed the geological and structural approach for this project in close collaboration with our consultants to minimize grading/ soil export while maximizing structural efficiency.
